The City of Westfield invites sealed bids for "Thermoplastic Line Painting of Markings of Various Streets and Parking Lots" of various city streets. f for any reason City Hall is closed due to an unforeseen circumstance, the bid opening will be held on the next business day at the same time. No bids will be accepted after the above stated date and hour. The Purchasing Director reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to award parts of the order to separate bidders if it appears to be in the public interest to do so. Attention is called to the minimum wage rates to be paid on the work as determined by the Commissioner of Labor Industries under the provisions of General Laws, Chapter 149, Sections 26 to 27G, inclusive. Mass DOT prequalification of contractors with the class of work of, Pavement Markings, with an estimated value of $1,595,850 will be required." Awarding Authority reserves the right to extend the contract for two (2) additional 12-month options. Valuation for purposes of the MassDOT Prequalification is based on the first-year times three (3) to arrive at the estimated total value.
