This project is for a traditional breakpoint nutrient reduction wetland. In general, the work involves, but is not limited to, selective clearing, excavation, grading, steel sheet pile weir construction, tile installation, water control structures and seeding. This project includes around 40,920 cubic yards of earthwork, 1,094 square feet of steel sheet pile, 5,500 linear feet of tile installation, 1,098 tons of riprap, 198 cubic yards of concrete grout, 14.7 acres of seeding and a water control structure. Printed copies of specifications and plans will be provided to the successful bidder. Bids must be submitted on the appropriate bid forms provided and shall include a bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%). Bidders must also be registered with the Iowa Division of Labor.
