Kerner Redevelopment. 3010 & 3020 KERNER BOULEVARD Scope of Work DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The primary construction components will be construction of a new parking lot including a solar canopy, fencing and electric vehicle charging on a 0.97 acre lot in the City of San Rafael (City). The construction will include new lighting, a back up battery storage system connected to 3000 Kerner and new landscaping. CONSTRUCTION COST ESTIMATE: The Design Engineer's opinion of probable construction cost for this project is approximately $2,800,000 COMPLETION OF WORK: The Contractor shall diligently prosecute the entire work to completion before the expiration of 265 working days. The bidder is referred to the section entitled "Time of Completion" of the Special Provisions, which sets forth the number of calendar-days for completion of all work. Liquidated damages will be assessed for each day of delay in completion of work, in accordance with the provisions of the section entitled "Liquidated Damages" of the Special Provisions.
