Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. The new Center will offer areas programmable for digital labs and classrooms, maker spaces, culinary labs, meeting spaces, and multi-purpose functions. The City of Waco is seeking to have the work that is the subject of this RFB completed within 365 CALENDAR DAYS, (Base Bid and All Alternates), from the date of the Notice to Proceed. In determining the number of days for completion of the work under this Contract, it is anticipated that work will not be performed on Saturdays, Sundays, or City holidays unless specifically approved by City. Since "day" is defined as a calendar day, Saturdays, Sundays, and City holidays shall be counted as days and included in calculating the Contract time. If a Contractor wants to perform work on Saturdays, Sundays, or City holidays, the Contractor shall seek approval by making a written request to City. The contractor shall be responsible for all City staff and third-party time, costs, expenses, and overtime for work performed on Saturdays, Sundays, or City holidays, unless excused in writing by the City prior to the work.
