The Brookfield School District is requesting interested and qualified firms to submit sealed proposals for Architectural and/or Engineering services for the preparation of construction documents for the replacements of roofs at the following locations: Brookfield High School, 45 Longmeadow Hill Road, Brookfield (BHS) Whisconier Middle School, 15 West Whisconier Road, Brookfield (WMS). Bid Bond: Is not required. Payment & Performance Bond: Is not required. The Town bears no responsibility for misdirected envelopes that are incompletely labeled. Such misdirected envelopes may be declared late and not considered. Faxed or e-mailed proposals will not be accepted, unless otherwise instructed. It is understood and agreed that should a bid/proposal be accepted, the detailed bid specifications in this document, including the instructions to bidders and the general terms and conditions, as well as the submitted bid/proposal shall all automatically by this reference become part of the purchase order, contract, agreement or addendum to any contract agreed upon. Scope of Work The scope of work will include at a minimum: o Development and design for the removal and replacement of the roofs o Preparation of all Construction Documents sufficient for bidding and construction o Schedule for completion of this scope of work and for the construction phase o Estimate of Probable Cost of the removal and replacement of the roofs o Bidding Assistance: answering technical questions, bid qualification and selection o Construction Administration and Inspection Services, as required The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
