The City of Mount Vernon is looking for an experienced General Contractor for the following improvements to Mount Vernons Old Library located @ 315 Snoqualmie Street in downtown Mount Vernon AND the Hillcrest Park Recreation Building located @ 1717 S 13th St, Mount Vernon, WA 98274 . The "Old" Library Building remodel efforts will include: remodeling of three (3) bathrooms to include sink vanity, plumbing fixtures, mirror, urinals, toilets and ceramic floor and wall tile. Additionally, painting for 1,000 square feet of wall, the installation of 25,000 sq ft of carpet tile, and the installation of 150 sq ft of electrostatic flooring for computer micro-miniature work space, and the installation of front entrance door with emergency locking system. Finish Schedule: o Paint - To be determined, semi gloss, will complement tile and vanity color. o Floor and Wall Tile - To be determined, will compliment paint, vanity and carpet tile color. o Fixtures - Chrome o Vanity - Fit to allotted space solid one-piece or two-piece sink and countertop. o Light fixture - Standard LED bathroom light The Hillcrest Lodge remodel work includes, but is not limited to obtaining and providing all materials, labor, and equipment necessary to complete the project and the following tasks: o New flooring and baseboards throughout the facility - commercial grade linoleum o Paint interior o Ceiling repair - secondary classroom (noted on attached floor plan) o Recessed LED lighting installation o Replace sink #1 (noted by #1 on attached floor plan) with similar product (noted on attached floor plan) o Combine the two spaces and install countertop with cabinets underneath (noted by the #4 on attached floor plan) o Remove four (4) walls if not load bearing - (noted by X's on the attached floor plan) o Install one small wall with a door (#1 in the attached floor plan) o Build entrance to walkway with a door (#2 in the attached floor plan) o Install two (2) new windows (#3 in the attached floor plan) on the east wall o Install new window and door trim where needed o Replace or Paint doors o Replace mirrors in both restrooms o Paint wood paneling and install new hooks to hang jackets, backpacks, etc. (noted by the #5 on the attached floor plan) Note: Paint, tile, sink, and vanity colors to be determined at a later time.
