City of Oklahoma City received an allocation of $3,000,000 from the Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds to provide improvements to existing park amenities at Wiley Post Park. Project MP-0494-III, Wiley Post Park, 2021 South Robinson Avenue. The design elements are to be focused on the north shore of the park. Improvements are based on the recently developed master plan and will include, but not limited to, a small shelter, an area for riverfront seating, plaza with play features, and a sculpture garden, pavilion space, small amphitheater, landscaped with natural vegetation and parking improvements. The City of Oklahoma City requires any contractor engaging in work on public property, for which a prequalification class of such work has been established, must be prequalified by the Prequalification Review Board for that class of work to perform such work. Additionally, to bid on this Project, the Bidder must be prequalified by the City of Oklahoma City's Prequalification Review Board prior to the bid date as: BUILDING CONTRACTOR "A". Notwithstanding the bidding requirement above, the contractor or subcontractor performing any work for which a prequalification class has been created, the contractor must be prequalified in that class to perform that work.
