The CHPP water treatment plant has been in operation since 1998 and serves the community of Elkwater, as well as a hotel, three restaurants, a ski lodge, several shower buildings, a visitor centre, offices, full service campsites and two sani-dump stations. A 2022 consultant assessment recommended replacement of all poor condition internal components, as well as the green sand filters. These upgrades will extend the life and use of the system for another 20 years. The intent of this bid call is to solicit and receive formal offers to perform the following Work: Raw Water System 1.
