Burton Street Park renovations include removing the upper basketball court and installing a new playground in that location. The old playground will be demoed at the end of the project. The lower basketball court and fencing will be demoed and a new court installed. This is a reposting of the project that was posted prior to the storm and then canceled in the aftermath of Helene. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond and a payment bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. Those bonds shall meet the requirements of North Carolina General Statutes Section 143-129 and of Article 3 of Chapter 44A of the North Carolina General Statutes.
