MVA Substation Power Transformers For any clarifications, please contact Hugo E. Lopez at the Brownsville Public Utilities Board, Purchasing Department at (956) 983-6375 e-mail: hlopez@brownsville-pub.com The Brownsville Public Utilities Board will not be responsible in the event that the U.S. Postal Service or any other courier system fails to deliver the sealed proposals to the Brownsville Public Utilities Board, Purchasing Office by the given deadline above. Electronic transmission or facsimile of RFP will not be acceptable. Each proposal shall constitute an offer to the Board, as outlined therein, and shall be irrevocable for at least ninety (90) days after the time announced for the opening thereof. Firm is required to execute a contract and furnish a Material Supply Bond. The supply bond shall be valid from the notice of award until the acceptance of the 15/20/25/28 MVA Substation Power Transformers. Additionally, in lieu of supply bond, a letter of credit (LOC) from a Texas institution is acceptable.
