Renovation of a transportation facility in Medina, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility.
Furnishing of all labor, tools, materials, equipment end supervision necessary for the project known as "Medina Municipal Airport Hangar Apron Replacement" Refunds will be made for Contract documents returned to the City Engineer in good condition within ten (10) calendar days of the bid opening. The City of Medina reserves the light to reject any and all bids and the right to waive any Informalities or irregularities in the bidding. Contact the City Engineer at (330) 722-9034 for further information. The Engineer's estimate is $200,000 for the project. The City has set the final completion date for the project as June 1, 2025, however, the bidder's will be given the opportunity to submit an earlier completion date, if they desire. Completion dale will be one of the factors utilized by the Cry of Medina when evaluating bids. The bidder must submit a completion date with the bid submitted. Each bid must be accompanied by a Certified or Cashier's Check, or a bid bond, in the amount of 10 percent of the total amount bid, made payable to the City of Medina, Ohio as guarantee that, doe bid is accepted, a contract will be entered into with the City within thirty (30) days and its performance secured by a performance bond in the amount of 100 percent of the contract price, and in default thereof, said check or bond will he forfeited to the City of Medina as liquidated damages.
