The contract work provides for furnishing all materials, labor, and equipment as required for the construction of a new Precast concrete lift stations & valve vault, package duplex grinder pump station, valves & piping, electrical conductors and conduit, site work, sanitary sewer force mains (1.5 - 6), sanitary sewers, laterals and all other work, per plans and specifications. These items of work contain other miscellaneous items necessary and as specified to make this project complete. All interested citizens are invited to attend and should any citizens require special provisions, such as handicapped modifications or non-English translation personnel, the Town will provide such provisions as long as the request is made one week prior to the meeting by calling Town Hall at 812-623-2066. Question Deadline 10/02/2024 To receive consideration, such questions shall be submitted in writing to the Engineer at least seven days before the advertised date for receipt of bids. If the question involves equality or use of products or methods, it must be accompanied by drawings, specifications, or other data, in sufficient detail to enable the Engineer to determine the equality or suitability of the product or method Bidder hereby agrees to commence WORK under this contract within ten days after receipt of Notice to Proceed and hereby agrees to finish the project within 300 days after issuance of Notice to Proceed by Owner. Bidder further agrees to pay as liquidated damages, the sum of $500.00 for each consecutive calendar day thereafter.
