City/County - Kendall County Remove Existing 2 Span Concrete Slab Bridge and Replace With Single Span Bridge. Proposals requiring prequalification of bidders will be issued only to those contractors who are qualified with the Department of Transportation. Prequalification forms may be secured from the Engineer of Construction, Administration Building, 2300 South Dirksen Parkway, Springfield, IL 62764. Project Location Caton Farm Road, 1/4 Mile East of Grove Road in Kendall County, Il ILDOT - Remove Existing 2 Span Concrete Slab Bridge Location Caton Farm Road over Middle Aux Sable Creek - 0.25 miles east of Grove Road intersection The project consists of reconstruction of 1,600 feet (0.30 miles) of Caton Farm Road, including complete removal and replacement of the bridge over Middle Aux Sable Creek. The existing two-span structure will be removed and replaced with a new single-span structure with spill-through abutments. Additional improvements include ditch grading, storm sewer installation, guardrail installation, signage, and pavement markings. Completion- 09/01/25
