Renovation of a mixed-use development in Ladd, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

2025 Chiller Replacement Work, Ladd School Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Guarantee in the form of a Bid Bond, Certified Check or Bank Draft in an amount equal to not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid and made payable to Ladd Community Consolidated School District 94. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) days after the bid opening date without the consent of the Owner. Checks or drafts of unsuccessful bidders will be returned as soon as practical after opening and checking the bids. Successful bidder must provide a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond in the full amount of the Contract, acceptable to the Owner. This Contract is subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130/1 et.seq.). The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in bidding. Should a bidder find discrepancies in or omissions from the drawings or documents, or should he be in doubt as to their meaning, he shall at once notify the Architect, at least five (5) days before bids are due, who will send written instructions in the form of an addendum to all bidders A. Work covers complete construction and installation of work specified and/or required, including all trades for the 2025 Chiller Replacement Work, Ladd School located at 232 E. Cleveland Street, Ladd, Illinois for Ladd Community Consolidated School District 94, Ladd, Bureau County, Illinois hereinafter called the Owner and is to be constructed in accordance with the Contract Documents prepared by Healy Bender Patton & Been Architects, 4040 Helene Avenue, Naperville, Illinois, the Architect. B. The intent of work under this contract is for demolition of the existing nonoperational chiller and associated equipment, and for the complete and functional installation of new chiller equipment. C. The Owner has pre-purchased the replacement chiller, Carrier model 30RC1326C, direct from the Sourcewell co-op under separate contract. The Contractor shall coordinate required trades under this contract including but not limited to demolition, mechanical, and electrical work. Work under this contract shall include coordination to accept delivery of the pre-purchased unit to the site. D. Work shall be installed in strict accordance with manufacturer recommendations.
