The Lafayette Consolidated Government ('LCG') is pleased to issue this Request for Proposal ('RFP') for Professional Design and Engineering Services ("Project") related to complete street improvements along Willow Street ("Site") between Cora and Clifton Chenier Access Drive and Northgate Drive and Moss Street located in Lafayette, Louisiana. The selected consultant/team ("Consultant Team") must be an expert in complete streets. Expertise in designing complete streets with urban design enhancements is requested. The primary focus of the project is engineering the improvements that will resolve for increased vehicular speed from the lack of traffic calming devices, fragmented sidewalks, faded markings, lack of bike lanes, lack of shaded pedestrian paths, and beautification of a well-trafficked road that connects two neighborhoods. Requests for Clarification or Interpretation Due September 11, 2024 No Vendor may withdraw his proposal for at least ninety (90) days after the time scheduled for the opening of proposals. Each proposal shall follow the instructions listed in the RFP regarding submittal of their proposal. Proposals will be evaluated by the Purchaser based on the evaluation criteria outlined in the Request for Proposals. The Lafayette Consolidated Government reserves the right to reject any and all proposals or any portions thereof, to waive informalities and to select the material that best suits its needs.
