DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The Central Utah Water Conservancy District (District) announces a Request for Proposals (RFP) for an Environmental Impact Statement, in compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act, for the Nebo Regional Water Supply Project (Project). The District, the United States Bureau of Reclamation, the United States Department of the Interior-Central Utah Project Completion Act Office, and the Utah Reclamation Mitigation and Conservation Commission, will be working together as Joint Lead Agencies on the EIS. The NEPA process will be managed by the District. The EIS will address revisions to the Utah Lake Drainage Basin Water Delivery System EIS and the proposed enclosure of the Strawberry High Line Canal and associated pipelines required for connections and deliveries, in addition to changes of water right uses and expansion of the Strawberry Vally Project (SVP) and Central Utah Project (CUP) service areas. The District is seeking a qualified consultant team with experience in the NEPA process, with a focus on water resources and water delivery.
