Bidders shall promptly notify the Engineer of any errors, omissions, conflicts or ambiguity within the Contract Documents within 14 days of the bid opening. The work includes providing all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment, and other means of construction necessary and incidental to the completion of the work shown on the plans and described in these specifications including, but not necessarily limited to the following: Culvert Replacement of CR 7 over Tributary to the Roeliff Jansen Kill. Participation Requirements - Minority Business Participation - Service-Disabled Veteran Owned - Women-Owned Business Participation Bonding Requirements - Bid Bond 5 % -- Each bid must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bid Bond, payable to Columbia County in the amount of five percent (5%) of the base bid in accordance with the Instruction to Bidders. The successful bidder will be required to furnish insurance, construction performance and payment bonds in the full amount of the contract price in order to execute the contract. The goal requirements for this project is as follows: 5% Minority-Owned Business Enterprise, 4% Women-Owned Business Enterprise (WBE), 3% Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business (SDVOB), and 0% Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE). The use of the NYSDOT approved civil rights reporting software, Equitable Business Opportunities (EBO), is required. All work shall be completed on or before October 31, 2025 with final payment request due to Columbia County by December 12, 2025. *The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any and all informalities and the right to disregard all nonconforming, non-responsive or conditional bids.
