The project includes the installation of new 12-inch diameter water main on Vashon Highway and new 8-inch water main on SW 216th Street and Monument Road in Vashon. The work also includes the installation of a new pressure reducing valve station on Monument Road. The Work shall be physically complete within 80 working days after the commencement date stated in the Notice to Proceed. The Proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud shortly after the time and date stated above. Proposals are to be submitted only on the form provided with the Bid Documents. All Proposals must be accompanied by a certified check, postal money order, cashiers check, or Proposal bond payable to the Water District 19 and in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total Proposal amount. General contractors and all subcontractors must meet DWSRF requirements or provisions. All contractors must be licensed to conduct business in Washington State. All work performed on this project will be subject to the higher of the prevailing state or federal wage rates. King County Water District 19 is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer.
