As of January 24, 2025, project was awarded to Southern Constructors, Inc. but awarded amount is not available. Question Deadline 12/06/2024 Questions received less than four (4) days prior to the date for opening of Bids will not be answered. The demolition and reconstruction of the superstructures for two boardwalk/bridged sections over Pistol Creek and Springfield Branch. Bids shall be accompanied by a cashier's or bank check or BID Guarantee BOND in the amount not less than five percent (5%) of the BID made payable to the City of Alcoa, Tennessee, Owner, and subject to the conditions provided in the INSTRUCTION FOR BIDDERS. The successful bidder will be required to furnish an acceptable Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price, each bond. If the Contractor shall fail to complete the Work within the time stipulated in this Agreement, including any extensions of time for excusable delays as provided for in the Supplemental General Conditions, the Contractor shall pay to the OWNER liquidated damages in the amount of lost revenue, fees, fines, expenses incurred, etc. for each day of delay, including a minimum of Two-Hundred Dollars ($200) per day until the Work is substantially completed. The OWNER reserves the right to waive any irregularities or reject any or all bids
