Renovation of a municipal facility in London, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

Construction Cost $10,195,024.00 The project consists of renovations and/or new work for three separate Ohio Attorney General facilities Ohio Peace Officer Training Academy (OPOTA) London Tactical Training Center / OPOTA London Main Campus / Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) London. These three facilities are located in London, Madison County. The scope of work for these projects includes London BCI OPOTA HVAC Controls Submit all questions regarding this RFQ in writing to OFCC Procurement at procurement@ofcc.ohio.gov Replacement of HVAC controls will allow an upgrade to current operations standards and the ability to control and properly maintain temperature, humidity, and recommended air exchanges in the London Facilities. London BCI Evidence Building New evidence fee standing storage facility (approx. 6,700 SF) to address long term storage of DNA samples, long term storage of evidence and current storage of crime scene supplies. London TTC Outdoor Range Renovation New covered shelter directly adjacent to the 125-yard outdoor gun range to protect approx. 25 officers, their equipment and firearms from the elements when shooting at the range. New multilevel platform at the 300-yard outdoor gun range to provide precision rifle and sniper training. Also, replace existing shed with new enlarged storage building adjacent to the range platform. London Renovations Includes parking lot replacement(s), including but not limited to, asphalt paving, concrete sidewalks/aprons, exterior stair replacement, concrete pads, curbs, and drain basins. All aspects of the project and related issues will be implemented and operated consistently with Attorney General's Office and Bureau of Criminal Investigations policies and procedures. Total Project Cost $11,714,477.00 The selected Construction Manager at Risk (CM), as a portion of its required Scope of Services and prior to submitting its proposal, will discuss and clarify with the Contracting Authority and/or Owner, the breakdown of the Agreement detailed cost components, to address the Owner's project requirements and refine the project schedule. Participate in the Encouraging Diversity, Growth & Equity (EDGE) Program as required by statute and the Agreement. As required by the Agreement, and as properly authorized, provide the following categories of services: provide constructability review comments on documents produced by the A/E during the Schematic Design, Design Development, and Construction Document stages; develop and maintain estimates of probable construction cost, value engineering, project schedules, and construction schedules; lead and manage the Subcontractor Prequalification and Bidding process, Construction and Closeout Stage CM Preconstruction Services Start 05 / 25 Percent of the CM s total compensation Construction Stage Notice to Proceed 01 / 26 excluding CM s Contingency 5.0% Substantial Completion of all Work 02 / 27 *Preconstruction Stage Compensation plus Contract Sum CM Services Completed 04 / 27 minus CM s Contingency
