Reference Number: 0000363519 The Contractor shall cut and remove all vegetation from the following tank and pump station sites of all branches or limbs overhanging the exterior fence line within 25-feet of the ground, cut all vegetation within the detention ponds and area within the exterior fence, and mow all grassed areas. The following site are included with this work: Jones Bridge Road Elevated Tanks, Alpharetta / Preston Ridge Ground Tanks, Mansell Road Pump Station, Hembree Road Elevated Tanks, Hacket Road Elevated Tanks, Woodstock Road Pump Station, Bethany Bend Elevated Tanks, Providence Road Pump Station, Henderson Road Pump Station, and Freemanville Road Ground Tank / Prichard Mountain Elevated Tank. All trees larger than 3-inches DBH (diameter at breast height) shall remain unless the tree is within a detention pond. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond, prepared on the Bid Bond provided in this Bid Document or a Surety Company's Standard Bid Bond, duly executed by the Bidder as principal and having as surety, a surety company licensed to do business in the State of Georgia by the Georgia Insurance Commissioner and listed in the latest issue of U.S. Treasury Circular 570, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bid. The successful Bidder for this Contract will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance and Payment Bond each in the amount of 100 percent of the Bid, and proof of insurance in accordance with the requirements set forth in Section 5 of this Bid Document. This procurement is being conducted and the specific method of source selection in accordance with all applicable provisions of the Georgia Local Public Works Construction Law, O.C.G.A. 36-91-1 through 36-91-95 when a public works construction project cost exceeds $100,000. Fulton County will apply for any permit required for this Contract and does not anticipate that any permits will be required for this work. All trimming of specimen tree branches or limbs are required for compliance with Ga EPD regulations for site security. Fulton County will apply for tree removal permits for the locations within each City. All work will occur on Fulton County owned property. Limbs from adjoining trees will be trimmed back to the tree trunk if within two (2) feet of the fence. If the tree trunk is over two (2) feet from the fence, the limb shall be cut at two (2) feet from the fence.
