Site work and paving for a civil project in Mount Pleasant, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.

The project bid date is October 11, 2024. The Contractor will perform potholing (via vacuum excavating) on both private and public side of the water service curb stop at a minimum distance of 18 inches from the curb stop. A total of 372 material verifications will be completed and documented for the Owner. Quantities may be increased or decreased at the discretion of the Owner or Engineer. Work will include traffic control, landscaping, grass, pavement, and /or concrete restoration where necessary. The anticipated depth of pipe is approximately 6 feet below grade but may be up to 8 feet. The Contractor will be responsible for coordinating Work in the public Right of Way with the Owner and coordinating work on private property with the property owner along with obtaining applicable permits for the work. The inspections are required to meet EGLE minimum service line material verification requirements at points two and three as detailed in the EGLE CDSMI Attachment. Bids are requested for the following Contract: 2024 Water System Improvements - Division D : Lead Service Line Verification Obtaining the Bidding Documents Information and Bidding Documents for the Project can be found at the following designated website. Bidding Documents may be downloaded from the designated website. Prospective Bidders are urged to register with the designated website as a plan holder, even if Bidding Documents are obtained from a plan room or source other than the designated website in either electronic or paper format. The designated website will be updated periodically with addenda, lists of registered plan holders, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the designated website. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the designated website. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. Bidding Documents may be purchased from the Issuing Office during the hours indicated above. Cost does not include shipping charges. Upon Issuing Office's receipt of payment, printed Bidding Documents or electronic documents on compact disk will be sent via the prospective Bidder's delivery service. The shipping charge amount will depend on the shipping method chosen. Funding Source Requirements This project is funded through the Michigan Clean Water State Revolving Fund Grant (#5910-01), all state and/or federal funding requirements shall apply. This project is supported, in whole or in part, by federal award number SLFRP0127 awarded to The State of Michigan by the U.S. Department of the Treasury. Davis-Bacon Act, as amended (40 U.S.C. 3141-3148) and Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act (40 U.S.C. 3701-3708) will be required. In accordance with the statute, contractors must be required to pay wages to laborers and mechanics at a rate not less than the prevailing wages specified in a wage determination made by the U.S. Secretary of Labor.
