No bid will be considered unless it is made on a Bid form furnished by the County's Public Works Department (Department) and accompanied by bidder's security in an amount equal to 10% of the amount bid in accordance with the provisions set forth under Section 2, "Bidding," of the Standard Specifications of the State of California Department of Transportation, dated 2018, as modified by the special provisions. The successful bidder must complete the work, including plant establishment work, within 40 working days. The County reserves the right to reject any and all bids. The Department will not accept lower State wage rates not specifically included in the Federal minimum wage determinations. This includes "helper" (or other classifications based on hours of experience) or any other classification not appearing in the Federal wage determinations.
