Scope of Work. The Work consists of: ORG 058 - Alex W. Spence Preparatory Talented and Gifted Academy - Project consists of the following: 1. Marquee sign replacement. 2. Exterior renovation for accessible access to front entry. 3. Interior renovation to vestibule and reception area. 4. Exterior facade cleaning and repair. 5. Historic window refurbishment on exterior of original building. 6. Exterior window glazing replacement at exterior of original building. 7. Partial sidewalk replacement (as indicated). 8. Exterior paving replacement at northeast parking lot, fire lane, and delivery drive. 9. Select infill landscape planting at east facade. 10. Fire alarm system replacement. 11. Exterior light fixture replacement and poles. 12. Electrical panel replacement and relocation. 13. Replace exterior light fixture controls system. 14. Allowance Scope to include: a. Replacement of existing floor finishes (carpet, VCT, etc) in classrooms, corridors, offices, etc. b. Replace and/or encapsulate existing teaching surfaces at classrooms and provide new teaching surfaces. c. Repair / patch / paint previously painted interior wall and ceiling surfaces in classrooms, corridors, offices, etc. d. Demo existing and provide new audio - visual system at auditorium. e. Provide sound system and infrastructure at Gymnasium. f. Renovate existing interior courtyard to correct drainage to sub-surface system, install turf and concrete surfaces, accessible ramp, stairs, etc. g. Provide sod turf at existing soccer field. h. Demo existing and provide new educational casework in classrooms, and offices. Encapsulate existing lockers in corridors. i. Provide pole supported shade structure(s). j. Remove existing and replace light fixtures with LED fixture of similar size and quantity in classrooms, corridors, offices, public spaces, etc. k.
