The Washington State Department of Transportation Ferries Division, operating as Washington State Ferries (WSF), is the largest ferry system in the U.S. and the second-largest, in the world based on the number of vehicles carried each year. The Seattle/Bremerton and Seattle/ Bainbridge Island ferry routes are among WSF's busiest. WSF requests proposals from firms that have developed innovative concession concepts and wish to be considered for the following Contracts: one (1) Concession Contract to manage and operate food, beverage and/or other retail service at each of as many as six (6) concession spaces at WSF's Seattle Multimodal Terminal at Colman Dock, three (3) in the Terminal's Entry Building on Alaskan Way, and three (3) on the Elevated Pedestrian Connection, a walkway between the Entry Building and the main Terminal Building. Each Contract will be for an initial four-year term, with a WSF option to extend the Contract for a period oftime not to exceed six additional years.
