Synopsis: Project work includes but is not limited to: general maintenance addressing drainage, road and ditch improvements, landfill gas control station and piping modifications, debris removal, trail improvements, abandonment of pipes, header replacement, vault removal and replacement, tree removal, and fence repair. Items are listed below and elaborated upon in the plan set on 7 closed landfill sites. Engineer’s Estimate - $2,552,107.00 Work site: Various King County facilities located throughout Washington, primarily for the Solid Waste Division. Subcontracting Opportunities: Concrete, Electrical, Earthwork, Road Surfacing, Exterior Improvements, Fencing, Asphalt Patching, Utilities, Storm Drainage, Plumbing & Mechanical Apprenticeship Requirements: 15% minimum Apprentice Utilization Requirement. SCS Utilization Requirements. 20% minimum requirement for King County Certified Small Contractors and Suppliers (SCS). Bid Guaranty: Not less than five percent (5%) of the Total Bid Price.
