The Request for Proposal (RFP) involves two construction packages. Proponents may submit proposals for one or both construction packages as outlined below: Construction Package 91207: Trestle and Berth Rebuild at the Heriot Bay Ferry Terminal on Quadra Island BC Construction Package 91177: Berth Rebuild at the Whaletown Ferry Terminal on Cortes Island BC This RFP package includes three construction packages: 1. Construction Package 91207 – Heriot Bay Trestle and Berth Rebuild 2. Construction Package 91177 – Whaletown Berth Rebuild 3. Alternate Proposal for Both CP91207 (Heriot Bay) and CP91177 (Whaletown) The scope of work involves two construction packages as outlined below: Construction Package 91207: Heriot Bay Berth and Trestle Rebuild This package includes the following scope of work at the Heriot Bay Ferry Terminal: Demolition and removal of existing marine structures. Construction of a new abutment and shoreline protection Construction of a new concrete trestle Construction of new berth including ramp, pontoon and dolphins Construction of a waiting room building, ticket booth, and utility kiosks. Supply and installation of hydraulics and electrical systems. Construction Package 91177: Whaletown Berth Rebuild This package includes the following scope of work at the Whaletown Ferry Terminal: Demolition and removal of existing marine structures. Construction of new abutment and shoreline protection. Construction of new berth including jump span, ramp, pontoon and dolphins. Construction of utility kiosks.
