The City of Bismarck is seeking cost proposals for supplying natural gas for the Bismarck Event Center (315 South 5th Street), City/County Building (221 North Fifth Street), and the Public Works Building (601 South 26th Street). Supplying natural gas for the following facilities shall be for one (1) year commencing on November 1, 2024, and expiring October 31, 2025. The agreement shall automatically renew for one (1) additional one-year periods, beginning November 1 of each option year, unless otherwise notified. The agreement may be extended for an additional five (5) one-year periods upon written mutual agreement of both parties to negotiate in good faith to establish rates for calendar years beginning 11/1/2025. The successful contractor must furnish copies of insurance certificates for such coverage upon signing the contract. The City of Bismarck shall be named as an additional insured with a Waiver of subrogation written on the policy. Limits of the policy: Commercial General Liability: $2,000,000 each occurrence and Automobile Liability: $2,000,000 each occurrence and $500,000 per person. The City shall reserve the right to hold all bids for a period of sixty (60) days, to reject any and all bids, to waive irregularities or to accept such as may be determined to be for the best interest of the City of Bismarck. However, bids which do not comply with mandatory requirements imposed by law or late bids must be rejected.
