This bid is to establish a firm fixed price contract with one or more qualified source(s) to provide labor, material and equipment for paving requirements throughout the City of Portsmouth The purpose of this Invitation for Bids (IFB) is to establish a firm fixed price contract with one or more qualified source(s) to provide labor, material and equipment for paving requirements throughout the City of Portsmouth. This solicitation is to establish an agreement for one (1) year with the option of three (3) additional renewal periods. The work herein specified includes but is not limited to the milling, adjusting of structures, paving of streets and striping. The City reserves the right to order additional services as it sees fit on an as needed basis. The Contractor(s) shall furnish all materials, equipment and labor necessary to provide all work as specified herein. All work shall conform to the 5th Edition of the Hampton Roads Regional Standards and Specifications, incorporated by reference, as amended by the City of Portsmouth Special Clauses. The Contractor(s) shall be licensed and qualified to perform concrete infrastructure work by the Commonwealth of Virginia and shall be required to provide the City with a Contractor License number as evidence of licensure. Work Location: Portsmouth VA - City Wide Initial Period Of Contract: From Date of Contract Execution Through 1 year. No pre-bid meeting will be held for this solicitation. The contract(s) will commence on or about November 1, 2024. The initial contract period is one (1) year, with options for up to three (3) additional one year renewal periods if funding is appropriated for such services.
