Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Hibbing, Minnesota. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field; for site work for a water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.
The City of Hibbing is seeking proposals from qualified contractors interested in providing well drilling and pump installation services to the city. Scope of Services The City of Hibbing is seeking to construct a well for potable water use for a bathroom and shower facility and RV hookups at its Carey Lake facility. Based on Minnesota County Well Index information for other area wells, the well is anticipated to be 150 feet deep. Work will include drilling, construction, and development of the well, installation of pitless adapter, and installation of downwell pump, piping, and wiring to the well head for connection at a future date. The well shall be constructed and tested in accordance with all State of Minnesota rules and regulations. Flow testing shall be performed to show the well's constant flow rate production capacity. The approximate location of the well can be seen on the attached drawing X-02. Vegetation clearing for access and the well site will be completed by others prior to November 21, 2024. Coordination on access and work may be required with other contractors at the site. The well construction services scope identified in this Request for Proposal must be completed by December 31, 2024.
