Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Stockton, California. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

Design of traffic circle at Rose Street and Commerce Street and Oxford Circle. The work includes installing signage and striping, coring pavement, reducing roadway crown, modifying existing drainage and other utility work, installing streetlight, installing ADA ramps, repairing sidewalk, curb and gutter, and installing traffic circle. The City of Stockton (City) is requesting proposals from qualified firms to provide professional engineering services to prepare the plans, specifications and estimate for the Neighborhood Traffic Management Program (NTMP) project to design a traffic circle at the intersection of Rose Street and Commerce Street and redesign at Oxford Circle. The City Standard Plans and Specifications include guidelines for installation of traffic calming measures that are used in the implementation of the City's Traffic Calming Program. The program's goal is to improve safety and the quality of life for neighborhood residents by reducing the impacts from speeding vehicles and, to a lesser extent, cutthrough traffic. The program is a community-based program that allows residents to participate in addressing their neighborhood traffic concerns through traffic calming techniques. The project proposes to make all necessary roadway improvements to increase safety and efficiency while at the same time reducing congestion by converting an existing two-way uncontrolled intersection with a traffic circle at the intersection of Rose Street and Commerce Street. The project also includes a redesign of an eight-leg intersection at Oxford Circle to reduce speeding. Any question or request for clarification shall be submitted in writing to: Jiandong.lin@stocktonca.gov cc. Christina.Barreto@stocktonca.gov Requests for clarification shall be submitted at least seven (7) business days prior to the proposal due date The City reserves the right to negotiate an agreement with the firm submitting the highest ranking proposal. Also, the City reserves the right to reject any and all proposals or to waive any irregularity in a proposal if it is deemed to be in the best interest of the City. Failure to submit all requested information could be grounds to reject the proposal. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
