Route 280 Eastbound, Bridges over Passaic River, Contract No. 003173130, Bridge Deck Replacements, Township of East Hanover, Borough of Roseland, Morris and Essex Counties; Federal Project No: 0280(339), UPC No: 173130, PE No: 0728508, CE No: 0728510 Estimated Completion Date on 10/04/2029 Estimated Range between $10,000,001 to $20,000,000 Contractors Prequalified in one of these Work Types are eligible to bid this project: 4 or 5 Project Labor Agreement Required: No The Principal Items of Work Consist of: Roadway Quantity Unit Description 6,200 Lf Construction Barrier Curb 6,406 Cy Excavation, Unclassified 34,280 Sy Hma Milling, 3" or Less 5,105 T Hot Mix Asphalt, Various Size and Course 8,550 Sf Temporary Sheeting 927 Sy Articulated Concrete Block Matting, Open Cell 7,357 Lf Chain-link Fence, 6' High 9,685 Lf Rumble Strip Bridge: Quantity Unit Description 2 Ls Temporary Shielding 80,000 Lb Reinforcement Steel, Epoxy-coated 333 Cy Concrete Bridge Deck, Fr-hpc 70 Cy Concrete Bridge Deck, Hpc 691 Lf Concrete Bridge Parapet, Hpc Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.35(d), if the Commissioner of the Department of Labor and Workforce Development (LWD Commissioner) makes an initial determination that an employer has violated the provisions of P.L.1963, c.150 (C.34:11-56.25 et seq.) by paying wages at rates less than the rates applicable under that act, the LWD Commissioner may immediately issue a stop-work order to cease all business operations at every site where the violation has occurred, and may assess a civil penalty of $5,000 per day against the employer for each day it conducts business operations in violation of the stop-work order. If the stop-work order is issued against a subcontractor, the general contractor may terminate that subcontractor from the project in accordance with N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.35(d). Minimum Wage Rates for This Project Shall Be as Specified in the "Prevailing Wage Determination of the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development" on File With This Department. The Attention of Bidders is Directed to the Provisions Covering Subletting or Assigning The Contract to Section 108-prosecution and Completion of the New Jersey Department of Transportation Standard Specifications. The Entire Work is to Be Completed on or Before the Estimated Completion Date Stated Above DOT reserves its right to reject any or all bids in accordance with N.J.S.A. 27:7-30 and N.J.S.A. 27:7-33.
