Site work and paving for a civil project in Funston, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.

The Project consists of constructing 3,825 linear feet of assorted 15"-36" storm drainage piping, 8,087 linear feet of 24" roll-over curb and gutter, various curb inlets & drop inlets, associated 9.5 mm Superpave Asphalt Resurfacing, 2,090 linear feet of 6" PVC water main, gate valves, fire hydrants, tapping sleeves and transferring of existing water services along with all additional items indicated in the Contract Documents. The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: Still Waters Engineering, 130 Veterinary Way, Unit 2, Leesburg, GA 31763. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below. Upon Issuing Office's receipt of payment, Bidding Documents will be sent via email or other means of electronic file distribution. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the prospective Bidder's date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. Bids will not be accepted from prospective bidders not on record with the Issuing Office as having purchased and received a complete set of Bidding Documents. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. If awarded the Contract the successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount. Bonds must be provided by sureties appearing on the U.S. Treasury Department's most current Circular 570 Listing and be licensed in the State of Georgia. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis, with any alternate bid items if indicated in the Bid Form. All permits required for the construction of this project are expected to be approved prior to the date of the bid opening. Acquisition of property for permanent easements, right of way, etc. is not expected to be required for this project. The City of Funston reserves the right to reject all bids, including without limitation, the right to reject any or all nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced or conditional bids, and to make an award in the best interest of the City of Funston.
