Paris ISD reserves the right to acceptor reject any and all bids Paris Independent School District (hereafter referred to as the District) is soliciting sealed bids for the purchase and installation of eight natural gas powered generators at multiple campus locations per the specifications stated elsewhere in this document. It is the responsibility of the bidder to observe the location and existing conditions in order to determine their effect on his/her ability to fully perform the contract. Bidders shall carefully examine the specifications and other documents included in this IFB packet. Should the bidder find discrepancies in, or omissions from, the specifications or other documents, or should the bidder be in doubt as to their meaning or request clarification on any aspect, he/she should immediately notify the specified contact person and obtain clarification prior to submitting any bids. Inquiries must be by email to Rachel Caywood, Director of Student Nutrition, and must be submitted by Monday, October 21, 2024. Responses to inquiries which directly affect an interpretation or change to this IFB will be issued in writing by the District as an addendum and emailed to all parties recorded as having notified the District of their interest in the IFB by emailing Rachel Caywood at rachel.caywood@parisisd.net. All such addenda issued by the District prior to the time that bids are received shall be considered part of the IFB. Only those inquiries the District replies to by addenda shall be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications shall be without legal effect. The successful bidder shall furnish all equipment, supplies/materials, and labor as required for the equipment and installation. Administrators, principals, teachers, and/or other district employees are not authorized to substantially amend this solicitation document nor to substantially modify the subsequent contract. Scope of Work: Awarded vendor to remove all existing equipment & dispose of off campus property. Awarded vendor to also be responsible for all delivery/ set in place/ final utility connections to existing utilities. Any utility upgrades (if necessary) will be handled by the awarded dealer.
