The Virginia Department of Transportation (herein referred to as "VDOT") is soliciting bids from qualified firms to provide janitorial services at the following four (4) locations: VDOT Merrifield Area Headquarters (AHQ) 8101 Lee Highway Falls Church, VA 22042 VDOT Van Dorn Area Headquarters (AHQ) 5910 McGuinn Drive Alexandria, VA 22310 VDOT Reston Area Headquarters (AHQ) 10907 Sunset Hills Road Reston, VA 20190 VDOT Newington Area Headquarters (AHQ) 8305 Cinder Bed Road Lorton, VA 22079 One (1) year from date of award with Four (4) optional renewals. Any questions regarding this invitation for bid shall be addressed to Deanna Wayland at Deanna.wayland@vdot.virginia.gov The issuing office shall determine whether any addendum should be issued as a result of any questions or other matters raised. Provide questions no later than 2:00 PM EST on October 11, 2024. The purchasing agency reserves the right to cancel and terminate any resulting contract, in part or in whole, without penalty, upon 60 days written notice to the contractor. In the event the initial contract period is for more than 12 months, the resulting contract may also be terminated by the contractor, without penalty, after the initial 12 months of the contract period upon 60 days written notice to the other party. Any contract cancellation notice shall not relieve the contractor of the obligation to deliver and/or perform on all outstanding orders issued prior to the effective date of cancellation.
