Any such letter of credit shall be revocable only at the option of the beneficiary OWNER. The amount of the certified check, cashierís check, or letter of credit shall be equal to ten (10) percent of the Bid and the Successful Bidder will be required to submit a bond in the form provided in 153.57 of the Ohio Revised Code in conjunction with the execution of the Contract. Each proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the Bidding Documents and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar size and complexity. The OWNER intends that this Project be completed no later than the time period as set forth in Article 4 of the Standard Form of Agreement Between OWNER and CONTRACTOR on the Basis of a Stipulated Price. Each Bidder must ensure that all employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, handicap, ancestry, or age. The ENGINEER's estimate for this project is $307,000 All CONTRACTORs and subcontractors involved with the project shall to the extent practicable, use Ohio products, materials, services and labor in the implementation of their project. Additionally, CONTRACTOR compliance with the equal employment opportunity requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123, the Governorís Executive Order of 1972, and Governorís Executive Order 84-9 shall be required. This project is subject to the EPA policy of encouraging the participation of small businesses in rural areas (SBRA). The City of Ironton reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities. The City of Ironton reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to increase or decrease or omit any item or times and/or award the bid to the lowest and best bidder.
