Clarification Deadline 10/9/2024 5:00 PM Removal of the four (4) existing twenty (20)-ton glycol Liebert units with six (6) eight (8)-ton glycol and chilled water Liebert units at the Regnier Building data center. Chilled water main taps are existing. Project is comprised of three (3) phases to sequentially demo and install the replacement units to maintain data center functionality over the course of the project. An optional alternate is comprised of the removal of the four (4) existing dry coolers and installation of four (4) new dry coolers on the roof. If the contractor desires to use other than specified items, then a formal request for substitution must be submitted prior to bid date (no exceptions), in accordance with the procedures and time limitations set forth in Division 01. Where not defined in Division 01, requests for substitutions shall be submitted no less than ten (10) working days prior to bid date. Review of substitution requests by the Engineer shall be done at the expense of the contractor. The Engineer shall receive one copy of all coordination drawings supplied to the Owner as required in this specification.
