Demolition, site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in The Woodlands, Texas. Completed plans call for the construction of a 15,500-square-foot office development; and pre-engineered storage facility.
Demo of existing cattle pole barn. New construction of cattle barn with wash and grooming stations and small animal barn with an office space. This is the final bid for the Conroe ISD Agriculture Facilities. Brookstone is the Construction Manager for this project. This project includes construction work at two different sites: Budde Ag Facility (existing), and North Side Ag Facility (new). Construction will occur simultaneously at both Ag Facilities, and construction is expected to start in December 2024. Please note that Addendum #1 dated 10/10/2024 completely removed all work at the Oakridge Ag Facility. These bid notes have been updated. Each Ag Facility must be priced separately. A combo price may also be provided. The Ag Facilities may be awarded separately or together. Please note the following: Each Ag Facility site will be treated as a separate project (schedule, supervision, crews and manpower, equipment, pay requests, documentation, submittals, closeout, etc.) Each Ag Facility has a separate set of plans, but both facilities share the same project manual (some specifications may not apply to each facility). Project is tax exempt for incorporated materials Wage scale applies (see project manual) Background checks apply for Budde (existing facilities) Background checks would not apply for North Side (new facility) *Conroe ISD policy regarding background checks This document was included in Brookstone’s agreement with Conroe ISD, and it will also be included in all subcontracts for the project. Subcontractors will be required to sign and return this document certifying compliance with Conroe ISD policy regarding background checks on construction sites. *Budde Ag Facility - Photos show the existing site and building from the Oct 16 site walk through and the architect's photos from a prior site visit. *Addendum #3 includes a revised specification 13 34 19 for the Metal Buildings Systems and adds a new specification for 32 31 13 Chain Link Fences and Gates. Many plans were revised and a few new plans were added including a few new electrical and technology plans (Budde and North Side) and new irrigation plans (North Side only). The revised detention pond plan and details now show a concrete pilot channel. Each Ag Facility must be priced separately. A combo price may also be provided. The Ag Facilities may be awarded separately or together.
