Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Manville, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
This project involves improvements to Knopf Street (2,600 LF, North Main Street to North 10th avenue. The work includes approximately 3,440 SY milling & 415 Tons 9.5M64 Surface Course. Areas of Base Repair will be determined by proof-rolling the roadway after milling operations under the direction of the Borough Engineer. Concrete work consists of 375 LF of concrete gutter curb and 600 SY of sidewalk installed in conformance with ADA Standards Bid Security is required in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the Bid, but not in excess of Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000.00) The Borough of Manville reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, or to waive any Bid defect where such defect is not detrimental to the best interest of Borough of Manville and fairness of the bidding process. The right is also reserved to increase or decrease the quantities specified in the manner designated in the Contract Documents.
