Grady Health System Department of Facilities Development is soliciting proposals for design-build services for the Short Term Genetics Lab. The project will be located at the main campus of Grady Memorial Hospital, 80 Jesse Hill Jr. Drive SE Atlanta, GA 30303, 4th Floor, F-Wing, Suite 4F011. Reconfigure existing laboratory space into a temporary laboratory for genetics testing, including: Utilizing as much of the existing lab base cabinets, countertops and wall cabinets as possible Validating space requirements and layout of the lab equipment Validating the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing service requirements of the lab equipment, including emergency power Updating the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing services as required for the temporary space and lab equipment Erect walls and doors to provide separation of rooms per the Schematic Drawing Q 110 Goals of this Effort: The goals of the Short Term Genetics Lab effort are to: Enhance patient care and experience by providing temporary space for ongoing genetics testing during the planning, design and construction the permanent lab project. Optimize operational efficiency and effectiveness by streamlining workflows and integrating innovative technology solutions into the facility design. Ensure regulatory compliance and safety standards to provide a secure environment conducive to patient recovery and rehabilitation. Increase Diverse Subcontractor Participation by: Engaging Diverse Sub-suppliers in partnership and/or joint venture-ship roles. Achieving a 30% minority spend to Diverse Suppliers for the services of this project.
