Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a museum in Quincy, Illinois. Completed plans call for the addition of a museum; for the demolition of a museum; for the renovation of a museum; and for site work for a museum.
Description of work: Project to include an estimated 4,000 SF addition to the west side of existing structure, 3,000 SF renovation to existing building interior, and 1,400 SF rooftop deck. All proposals shall be accompanied by either a bid bond on the "Proposal Bid Bond" form contained in the proposal, executed by a corporate surety company satisfactory to the Historical Society of Quincy and Adams County or a bank cashier's check, an irrevocable letter of credit or a properly certified check payable to the History Society of Quincy and Adams County for not less than 5 percent (5%) of the amount bid, or for the amount listed in the specifications. The Historical Society of Quincy and Adams County reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive technicalities and reserves the right to determine the qualifications of any and all contractors to perform the work required under this contract. No bid may be withdrawn after the time for opening of the bids is past. Bidders are notified that not less than the prevailing wage rate as determined by the Illinois Department of Labor shall be paid to all workmen performing work under this contract.
