Site work for a water / sewer project in Quincy, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The City of Quincy's MU0029 Project consists of installing a new 8" water main from Payson Avenue to the alley south of State Street, storm sewer and intersection improvements at the intersections of South 18th & Ohio and South 18th & State, lead water service replacements, and sewer repairs along South 18th and related items. All bids shall be accompanied by either a bid bond on the "Proposal Bid" form contained in the proposal, executed by a corporate surety company satisfactory to the city of Quincy, or a bank cashier's check, an irrevocable letter of credit or a properly certified check for not less than 5 percent of the amount bid, or for the amount listed in the specifications. No bid may be withdrawn after the time for opening of the bids is past. The City of Quincy is an Equal Opportunity-Affirmative Action Employer and encourages minority group participation in the bidding and construction process. The City Council of Quincy reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities.
