Bids are invited for several items and quantities of work as follows: . Remove/dispose sludge from Imhoff Tank. . Pressure wash & grout repairs of Imhoff Tank Walls . Replace Internal Sludge Piping Bid. Davis-Bacon prevailing wage requirements apply to Contractors and Subcontractors performing contracts in excess of $2,000 for the construction, alteration or repair of treatment works financed, in whole or in part, with assistance made available by the Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF). Bidders must submit with their bids a Bid Bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance bond and a Payment bond in the amount of the contract for the protection of all claimants supplying labor and materials. The JASPER COUNTY W.C.I.D. #1 reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality in the bidding. This contract is contingent upon release of funds from the Texas Water Development Board. Any contract or contracts awarded under this Invitation for Bids are expected to be funded in part by a loan from the TWDB, and shall be referred to as Project No. 73805. Neither the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) or the State of Texas, nor any of its departments, agencies, or employees, are or will be a party to this Advertisement for Bids or any resulting contract.
