Demolition, site work and new construction of a parking garage in Westwood, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the demolition of a parking garage; for the construction of a parking garage; and for site work for a parking garage.

This is the only way to submit a bid for this project; paper bids will not be accepted. The work under this Invitation for Bids generally consists of, but is not limited to, the construction of a new women's Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) - compliant restroom, in an existing vacant space and converting the existing men's restroom to an ADA-compliant restroom. Electrical and Plumbing work is necessary to aid the restroom reconstruction work and is included as part of this project. Note you will be required to download and install the plugin as well as any additional software provided by Bid Express prior to uploading your bid. Your corporate or personal security settings may require additional steps before the software can be installed. All firms must be prequalified by NJ TRANSIT prior to submitting a Bid. Bidders must be prequalified for BC Building Construction Non-operating Railroad Environment as a GC (General Contractors) for an amount of work that is equal to or greater than their bid amount with a minimum rating of E ($300,001 to $400,000). Bidders who are not currently prequalified as required above or whose prequalification has expired MUST submit its completed prequalification, no later than the submittal date identified in the Special Provisions. Late prequalification submissions will not be considered for this solicitation and will disqualify an interested firm from submitting a Bid. This project is subject to the requirements of the Public Works Contractor Registration Act N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.48 et seq. Contractors and subcontractors must also comply with the State of New Jersey, Division of Revenue, Business Registration Certificate requirements N.J.S.A. 52:32-44, Political Disclosure N.J.S.A. 19:44A20.27, and Source Disclosure N.J.S.A. 52:34-13.2. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27, regarding Equal Employment Opportunity Laws and Regulations. NJ TRANSIT further requires that its Contractors shall agree to take all necessary and responsible steps in accordance with applicable laws to ensure that Small Business Enterprises (SBEs)/Disabled Veteran-Owned Businesses (DVOBs) have the opportunity to participate in the performance of this Contract, e.g., N.J.S.A. 52:32-17 et seq.; N.J.S.A 52:32-31.1 et seq., and N.J.A.C. 17:13-1.1 et seq.; N.J.A.C. 17:14-1.11 et seq. A three percent (3%) Category 6 SBE/DVOB Goal has been assigned to this project. In accordance with N.J.A.C. 16:72-2.2, Bidders are notified that a bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid price is required with their Bid. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Question Deadline 10/18/2024 at 11:59 PM ET
