Site work and paving for a civil project in Licking, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
The contract consists of installing approximately 20,400 LF of 6"0 water mains with PVC SDR-21 or High Density Polyethylene, DR-11 piping, with 47 gate valves, 35 fire hydrants, 42 waterline connections and 196 service lateral connections, 13,370 LF of Asphalt Street (2 ft. wide) Pavement, and all related components to complete Part 2 of the project detailed within. Bidders on this work will be required to comply with the President's Executive Order Number 11246, "Notice of Requirement for Affirmative Action to Ensure Equal Employment Opportunity". Bidders on the work will be required to comply with Missouri Law and 10 CSR 60-13.020, the State prevailing wage rates, including fringe benefits, which are included in the Contract Documents. Bids shall be accompanied by Bidder's certified check or Bid Bond Guarantee in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bid Price in accordance with 2 CFR 200.326(a). The contracts in Part 1 will be awarded based on the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder on the firm-price bid. The City of Licking, Missouri, reserves the right to reject any or all bids received for a sound, documented reason and to waive or not to waive any or all irregularities.
