Russellville Independent Schools will receive lump sum, clearly marked, sealed proposals from qualified contractors for the furnishing of all labor, materials, supplies, tools, equipment, services, etc. for the "Russellville Independent Schools, R.E. Stevenson Elementary Roof Project, Russellville Kentucky" project. The project includes acceptance of all existing conditions which are to be inspected by all bidders prior to bidding, and all other work specified in the Contract Documents prepared by the Architect, Hawkins Abney, PLLC. Project consists of a single-ply roof rehabilitation of approximately 34,000 SF to R.E. Stevenson Elementary for the Russellville Independent Board of Education. Project entails roof membrane coating preparation and the application of reinforced fluid-applied roof membrane and flashings over existing fully adhered EPDM membrane roof. a separate check. Electronic copies of the Contract Documents are available from Maco-Evansville Blue. Charges to obtain electronic copies must be arranged with Maco-Evansville Blue. No partial sets will be issued, Bid Documents may be examined at the office of the Architect and at the Online, Deposits will be refunded to contractors that submit an acceptable proposal directly to the Owner, and return documents in a condition that is reusable. Return documents within 10 days from the date proposals were opened. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, payable to the Owner in an amount of not less than 5% of the bid. No bidder may withdraw his/her bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the date set for the bid opening. The successful bidder must furnish a performance and payment bond in an amount equal to at least One Hundred Percent (100%) of the contract price. It is the Owner's intent to purchase a significant quantity of materials through direct purchase orders. Refer to Division 1 of the Project Manual for additional information. The Owner will be purchasing materials needed for this project through the AEPA Cooperative Purchasing Agreement, governed by GRREC in the state of Kentucky. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in bids received and shall have the right to reject any and all bids. Federal prevailing wage rates ARE NOT applicable to this project. Direct purchase orders DO apply to this project. Non-conformance to the requirements above shall be grounds for rejection of the bid.
