Base Bid: Remove asphalt surfacing, concrete curb & gutter, gravel surfacing, remove and replace culverts, removal/abandon existing 4-inch water main, remove and salvage fire hydrants. Traffic control, seeding, fertilizing, fiber mulching, erosion control wattles, and erosion control blanket are also included. Install 7,329 feet of 6-inch water main, 1,019 feet of 8-inch water main, 44 six-inch gate valves, 12 fire hydrants, 95 one-inch saddles with corporation stops, 3,545 feet of one-inch service line, and tracer wire throughout the new system. Surfacing includes 790 TN of aggregate base course, 360 TN of asphalt concrete pavement, 3,360 TN of gravel surfacing, 288 SF of concrete sidewalk, 82 SY of concrete valley gutter, and 55 LF of curb and gutter. Alternate Bid A: Install 5,239 feet of 6-inch water main, 30 gate valves, 8 fire hydrants, 43 one-inch saddles with corporation stops, 1,513 feet of one-inch service line, and tracer wire throughout the new system. Surfacing includes 1,080 TN of aggregate base course, 605 TN of asphalt concrete pavement, 655 TN of gravel surfacing, 59 SF of concrete sidewalk, and 24 SY of concrete driveway. Alternate Bid B: Install 3,350 feet of 6-inch water main, 13 gate valves, 3 fire hydrants, 12 one-inch saddles with corporation stops, 380 feet of one-inch service line, and tracer wire throughout the new system. Surfacing includes 1,250 TN of gravel surfacing, 35 SF of concrete sidewalk, and 103 SF of PCC Fillet Section, and 79 LF of concrete curb and gutter.
