Site work for a water / sewer project in Timber Lake, South Dakota. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Base Bid - Clean & televise, rehabilitate 166 LF of 6" sanitary sewer, 5699 LF of 8" sanitary sewer, 2296 LF of 10" sanitary sewer, and 1160 LF of 12" sanitary sewer. Work will also include grinding approximately 34 protruding service taps and reinstating approximately 188 sewer services. Alternative Bid A - Remove and replace 12 sanitary manholes, replacing 275 LF of 6" sanitary sewer, 769 LF of 8" sanitary sewer, and 761 LF of 12" sanitary sewer. Work will also include replacing approximately 17 sanitary sewer services from the main to the property line. This will include all necessary fittings and connections to restore services. Work will include rehabilitating 1557 LF of 8" sanitary sewer, 388 LF of 10" sanitary sewer, and 310 LF of 12" sanitary sewer. Alternative Bid B - Installing 1569 LF of new sanitary sewer mains, 3 new sanitary sewer manholes, a simplex lift-station, and 752 LF of 2" force main. The Work to be performed under this contract shall be substantially completed by November 1, 2025. Each bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Security as described in the Bidding Documents. The Successful Bidder will be required to provide Payment and Performance Bonds as described in the Bidding Documents. The DBE/MBE and WBE goals for participation in this contract in terms of percentage of contract value are as follows: Disadvantaged/Minority Business Enterprises 4.0% Women's Business Enterprises 2.0% Question Deadline 10/21/2024
