City of Compton General Services Department is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to submit a proposal for a construction services contract to repair the gymnasium floor at Lueder's Park located at 1500 East Rosecrans Avenue, Compton, CA 90221. The goal of this project is to repair the gymnasium floor, game lines, and incorporate City logo into the floors. In order to be considered in the selection process, interested parties are required to have a General "B" Contractor, and/or Flooring C-15 Contractor, and/or State certified contractor The proposal shall be valid for a minimum period of 90 calendar days after the RFP opening date. All questions regarding this solicitation should be addressed to Nebraska Jones, Director of General Services. Failure to comply with the requirements may disqualify respondents from further consideration. The RFP and the respondent's proposal or any part thereof may be incorporated into and made part of the contract. The City reserves the right to further negotiate the terms and conditions of the contract. The City also reserves the right to withdraw the RFP, reject any submission for noncompliance with the RFP provisions, or not award a contract due to unforeseen circumstances if it is determined to be in the City's best interest.
