SCOPE OF SERVICES SUNY Maritime College is seeking proposals from qualified security gate installation contractors to provide all labor and materials to complete the specified and designed motorized cantilevered gate. The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, materials, equipment, and tools to execute the work outlined in the contract documents which includes the specifications and drawings enclosed in this package. The selected contractor must have at least 5 years of experience within the discipline. The basis of design shall be "Ameristar". The style shall match "Impasse II Gauntlet". A licensed and experienced contractor shall install the gate, electrified operator, and access control system. The contractor shall ensure that the system is installed in compliance with all local codes and regulations and provide a maintenance plan to ensure smooth and safe operation. PROJECT SCOPE: The successful bidder will be responsible for providing a complete turnkey operation that includes: 1. Removal and proper disposal of the existing automated cantilever gate, turnstile, and related access control components. 2. Supply and installation of a new cantilever gate with pedestrian entry and all necessary components. The pedestrian gate will require an electric strike operated by an access control button within the existing security booth. 3. Integration of a new access control system and power supply for the gate operator.
